Just a short drive from Nerja towards the hills, you come across this picturesque village of whitewashed houses. With its narrow cobbled streets lined with bourgainvillea and geraniums, it is no surprise that Frigiliana has been voted 'Prettiest village in Andalucía'! Wandering through the village takes you past beautiful arrays of local ceramic and weaving shops, and typical Spanish bars and restaurants where you can sample the local specialities, and at the top you'll find the ruins of a fort with a dramatic history

La Vinuela is a traditional, picturesque village situated about 20 minutes inland from the busy tourist resorts of the coast.
